Beginning portrait drawing

This workshop will be an instructive overview of the materials, techniques, and concepts for successful portrait drawing. It will emphasize the academic approach to drawing the figure from life,  focusing on developing an understanding of the fundamentals of constructing the head and the various techniques and mediums used for rendering three-dimensional form. Instructor will give demonstrations and lectures, as well as one-on-one critiques.
